This system is REALLY good. Don't have a whole lot of experience with other monitor set-ups but have heard lots of Tannoys, Yamahas, Genelecs and others. Sound quality with these is perfect. Sub adjustment allows for good room customization. The system is heavy for is compact size. It would cost at least $1800 for a pair of Near Field monitors that would begin to compete with the MediaDesk. I use my set for Digital Music compostition and mixing in my home studio. 100% satisfied, and Abe's has the best price bar none!
