We use this projector for our church that meets in a movie theater. I was concerned about how the projector would perform in such a large venue that has a reputation for quality production. I was surprised at the quality of the product and the brightness it produces. We actually set it up about 10 feet past its throw distance and have had no problems. It runs great and looks great. I don't know how it would look in a smaller venue, but, it looks great in a big venue. Again, it may run loud in a small venue, but, I haven't' noticed anything in our big venue. Great projector. I'd recommend this product to anyone in a situation like ours.
