I had hoped to escape the laptop/powerpoint connection hassle. This is a great projector but powerpoint must be converted to a readable format using provided software. Volume is inadequate for large audiences and videos are limited to 60 seconds. If you do not require sound or video, this projector beats the devil out of the projector/laptop connection issues.
