Clock keeps accurate time and the timer is easy to set. The biggest negative is that the clock is not lighted and is hard to read.

This is the best coffee maker I have owned. It isn't easy to find a 14 cup coffee maker, and the ones I have tried in the past, had some type of major flaw for my purposes. Water hard to put in, leaks, and the spout on the pot isn't designed very well (leaks when pouring). But this maker has none of those flaws. I love the water gauge on the outside, and there is very little, if any, leaking when pouring coffee. The fact it can be programmed for 4 hours works great for us. But the biggest feature that is a dream come true for me is how hot the coffee stays. The only thing I would change would be the lid to the carafe.I prefer one that flips up instead of having to manually take it off. Yes, I am one of those people who likes to dump cooled-off coffee back into the pot, BUT only if I am the ONLY person drinking out of the pot. I was somewhat apprehensive about purchasing from this company as I had no past experience with them. But I am glad I did. [...] I am totally sold on this product and would purchase this again. Great prices, and free shipping with this purchase. I would not hesitate to purchase from Abe's of Maine again.

Seems to be well made and has a three year warranty. Love the adjustable auto shut off feature. Because of work schedules, my wife gets up a couple hours earlier than me. We can have the pot stay on for up to 4 hours before shutting off. Keeps coffee fresh for a long time. Average brew speed but that isn't really a gripe. Was a little let down with the overall taste of the coffee since all of the reviews out there raved about how good it made coffee. Doesn't brew as strong as our old Mr. Coffee but the coffee is very smooth tasting.

Great coffee maker! Make sure you firmly push the filter basket down, a house guest didn't do this, which caused the coffee and grounds to overflow, which broke the coffee maker. I replaced it with the same model (so I could have an extra carafe). Other than that, it's perfect!

One complaint I've had (in the past) is that coffee-makers didn't keep the coffee hot enough. NOT SO with this one. You can set the temp to keep it good'n hot! It's very simple to use, and I *love* being able to make 14 cups at a time.

IMO, this coffee maker cannot hold enough coffee, without overflowing its filter, to make 12 cups, much less 14. Given the manufacturer's specifications, the coffee maker is inadequate!
