I haven't had this coffeemaker long, but so far, it's great! I love the carafeless design- keeps the coffee hot and it looks sleek!

If the brewed coffee, Insulated so you could, Keeps the coffee fresher, Storage area was thermal, Turn off the warmer

I use this for tea, not coffee. just today I found out that the lever that releases the beverage leaks. when I took it apart, I discovered a tea leaf had gotten lodged in the hole where the beverage comes out! so I tried it again, and it seems to be fine now. I hope it continues that way or at least I know how to fix it. I do use coffee filters for the loose tea as I would with coffee.

Since we drink coffee every day, we wanted a reliable coffee maker, but also one that makes a great cup of coffee. The Cuisinart DCC-2000 did the job.

I make 12 cups in the morning and it generally lasts about 2 hours. Traditional carafes tend to scorch the coffee after an hour or so leaving the remainder of the coffee bitter and sometimes undrinkable. This is no longer the case as the last cup of coffee tastes as good as the first.
