Love the coffee made from fresh ground beans. Much easier than having a separate coffee grinder. We've been using this type of coffee maker and we are spoiled. Tried the K-cup brewer but fresh ground coffee just tastes better.

this Grind and Brew coffeemaker by Cuisinart is just PERFECTION! Very easy to use, easy to clean and brews the best cup of coffee! i would buy this coffeemaker in a heartbeat over and over again and will be buying this for my friends! EVERYONE needs to have this coffeemaker in their home! EVERYONE!

This coffeemaker keeps the coffee hot for HOURS with no bitterness because it doesn't sit on heat. I love that convenience! My only issue with it is the same as my previous Cuisinart coffeemaker where if the beans are ground too finely (which it did the first time I used the grinder with this machine), the filter clogs, grinds overflow and clog the outflow hole at the bottom of the basket, and coffee sludge overflows all over my kitchen. I found that by removing the auto-stop plug at the bottom of the filter basket, I no longer have these issues. Granted, I have to wait for the whole pot to brew (*gasp*), but it's worth it! I also prefer to use paper filters instead of the gold filter included. It's less mess to clean up, and you HAVE to clean the grinder every time you use it otherwise steam from the machine turns what's left into a sludgy mess. I would recommend this coffeemaker only if they plan on taking good care of it.

I love this coffeepot. I registered for my previous one for my bridal shower 8 years ago. It was a black and silver model and it gave us wonderful service for 7 years. We are huge coffee drinkers and sometimes brew 2 pots a day. When It broke (grinder went and It was leaking water) we decided to purchase a cheap 30 dollar black and decker pot. Two glass carafes later, it broke and it was less than a year old. This pot is definitely worth the splurge. We wound up paying more for the cheap one. My only gripe is cosmetic an it is that the white pot does need to be cleaned immediately or it stains.

What more could one ask for......A fresh pot of coffee every time. It grinds the beans and makes a perfect pot of coffee every time. A little more work in cleaning because it grinds the beans for you, but a fresh cup of coffee every time is worth the extra cleaning work.
