The coffee maker brews coffee very quickly and very hot.Which is ok but it keeps the coffee boiling long after the brew time.If you do not transfer coffee to a carafe or use up in a few minutes your coffee will be bitter and undrinkable( Unless you like coffee burnt). The temperature of the coffee that it maintains is incredible. the positive part of the maker is the cordless part, it is real nice is not having to unplug to serve the coffee.So there is a positive

This is the best coffee pot I have ever owned and brews the hottest coffee ever! It is an absolutely awesome coffee pot and stylish too. The ability to transport it directly to the table is also a great plus. After this coffee pot I am spoiled to any other and will never use any pot but this one!

It doesn't alsways completely perk the coffee and it isn't always hot after the brew cycle has completed.

The pot is well constructed. The only negative comment is the coffee grinds end up in the actual coffee if you do not put a paper filter on top of the grinds in the basket prior to brewing.
