I bought to have expresso every am and pm (4 cups total) On my first day on both attempts it filled the caraf half way and then sprayed water and grinds out all over the kitchen counter and caraf. It was a mess and half of what was made was grainy sludge. The earlier model had no problems but had to be replaced after a year as the on/off turn switch broke off. Don't buy this model it is cheaply made and doesn't work - returning today.
