After trying several coffee makers, it surprisingly met our standards in that with the use of the same amount of scoops, it makes a good strong rich coffee. Others, with the same scoops, still tasted weak – we tried 5 others. The simplicity of the on/off switch matched by the smaller foot-print and sleek design makes this a tasteful coffee maker, both visually and taste-wise.
