makes a very large pot of coffee!! smooth tasting, quick, easy to use and clean!

the gold filters keep a coffee grounds from overflowing when making a full pot.

We researched coffee pots for a long time before settling on this model. Had been using a Bunn, but weren't keen on the tank constantly heating, and not being able to actually clean the tank EVER. Loved how heavy/sturdy this one is, and loved that it has all stainless steel parts and water pump etc. BOY IS IT HEAVY. Very good coffee, VERY hot, comp to Bunn. BUT - after all the promo about all stainless parts, the actual basket that holds the filter IS PLASTIC!!! Can't find a SS replacement for that part, so what's the point really of all the other SS? Silly. And beware, the water filters are quite expensive and not so easy to find. All in all, we are pleased w/ this choice after about 1 month of use. Abe's was awsome as usualy.
