Comments about Cuisinart TOB-175BC Convection Toaster Oven/Broiler (Brushed Chrome):

I saw this item on the Fine Living Network (FLN) as they were comparing 4 different models of toaster ovens. This one was picked unanimously by the hosts of the show and their guests. It was the highest priced of the others but was recommended by all as the best in overall performance.

Comments about Cuisinart TOB-175BC Convection Toaster Oven/Broiler (Brushed Chrome):

Toaster has just about any feature anyone would want in a toaster oven. Be sure to read the difference in cooking time from bake to convection. You need to subtract some minutes of cooking time using convection setting. Unit does have a removal bottom tray for cleaning which makes cleaning a lot easier. It is the first toaster oven I have ever owned that made decent toast. All the others created toast too hard to eat and burnt on one side.

Comments about Cuisinart TOB-175BC Convection Toaster Oven/Broiler (Brushed Chrome):

We had our first Convection Toaster Oven/Broiler by Cuisinart for about 5 years and actually did not wear it out. We bought another one because it was so used looking after 5 years of cooking everything we ever ate. We never used our regular oven. We gave the old Cuisinart to our cleaning person and they love it!

Comments about Cuisinart TOB-175BC Convection Toaster Oven/Broiler (Brushed Chrome):

I use thie mainly for toasting especially since I found out it takes way too long to bake a potato. I have tried 400 degrees for over an hour and it doesn't even come close to baking it thoroughly.. My Black and Decker 29.95 model did a better job.

Comments about Cuisinart TOB-175BC Convection Toaster Oven/Broiler (Brushed Chrome):

I bought this for my wife at Christmas. So far we both like this very much. It makes toast well which was one of my concerns. My wife loves the convection feature. If I changed anything it would be a way to empty the crumb tray from the front.

Comments about Cuisinart TOB-175BC Convection Toaster Oven/Broiler (Brushed Chrome):

Best design to my opnion - Front commands allow more space on the side and the whole thing looks more ... balance. I have a tight space and want to hang it up to get more counter space so its removable handles come in handy (more space once removed). I have black appliances so the combination of stanless steel and black gives the kitchen an modern/clean look and still matching with the rest.

Comments about Cuisinart TOB-175BC Convection Toaster Oven/Broiler (Brushed Chrome):

Even browning of toast. Convectin feature does speed up baking of smaller items. Sliding out crumb tray from back requires you to reposition oven for cleaning.
