I have used this product for a fish and rice dish; 20 minute cooking time. Pork shoulder roast with the most delicious broth for gravy and frozen meat for spagetti that was a perfect blend of taste. The negative is that the directions should state the time does not begin until the unit is heated.

I will buy this for my son for Christmas

I am amazed at the ease of use of this pressure cooker. I had one of the "old style" stove-top models and it was hard to clean, the hissing sound was very noisy, and I kept having to adjust the control on the stove to keep the pressure correct. This new electric model is so quiet! No hissing! It comes up to pressure, holds it for the time required, then keeps the contents warm until you are ready to serve. The inside is removable and dishwasherable and nonstick. So easy!

Have used it quite a bit for few weeks now. Can't say much about its reliability yet, but we are very satisfied with its performance, especially on meat dishes and beans.

If there is any gripe, it is with the layout of the control display, poorly done.
