Comments about NESCO FD-61 Food Dehydrator - 4 Tray with Spices, Fruit Roll Sheet:

Our dehydrator has been on since it arrived making jerky, fruit rollups, vegetable chips, and all sorts of health snacks. It dries very quickly and very consistently.

I called the manufacturer with one issue, that turned out to be me, and they were extremely helpful. They also have a ton of great recipes on their website. If you like spicy and try to stay from potato chips try the Spicy-Cheese Chips.

I wish this had a timer, although I realize after using it that 90% of the time you really need to check things before the machine turns off anyway so I don't think this removes a star. But, it would be helpful on occasion.

This is a great dehydrator at a great price point. My fried has a cheap one and not being able to buy accessories, like more fruit trays, significantly limits it's use. We have already added 2 trays and 4 fruit trays to ours.
