We have been using the Jet-Stream since the first model (1000JS). We use it for just about anything that can be cooked in the oven. For meat or fish, the grease or fat is on the bottom liner and not on the food. The cooking time for food is just as fast as in the microwave. We will always have one in our kitchen. I hope that Abe's of Maine keeps this item in stock.

Had mine over 20 years. Used it daily. Finally died on me. I miss it awfully, must get another one or I will STOP cooking. It made cooking a pleasure. Very good for frozen or fresh biscuits.

This is our third Jet Stream, it is the most used appliance in our kitchen. This direct drive motor design is superior to the belt drive and quieter than previous models. Any item you'd deep fry can go into the oven and it will turn out crispy foods without the added fat. It makes great French fries and chicken wings, baked potatoes, and more. It's easy to clean. With the expansion rings it's possible to roast a turkey in it.
