Comments about Cuisinart DFP-14BCN 14 Food Processor:

Friends call me the Cuisinart Queen or Dip Queen. I make a lot of vegetable dips and blended salads, mix eggs with leftover vegetables for scrambled eggs or add almond flour for pancakes. Great for chopping large amounts of garlic or ginger. I've shredded cabbage and other vegetables to make sauerkraut. And I make breads from vegetables and almond flour, and sometimes with leftover fish.

The only I'm unhappy about it that the blades have a tendency to crack and break. With my last Cuisinart (previous model: DFP-14BC) I replaced cracked blades twice and then the last one broke in the machine, jammed on the spindle and the cost to replace was not much more than the cost to repair. I was not happy to have to buy a new machine, though the new one is a bit easier to clean. Good and bad news is that it takes the same blades as the old one.

Comments about Cuisinart DFP-14BCN 14 Food Processor:

My first Cuisinart food processor is 27 years old. I replaced the bowl once. Now the second bowl had a piece that broke. My original blade is not sharp anymore. I thought I deserved a new machine rather than just buy new parts if I could even get them for my old machine. This one is even better than my old workhorse. It works just as easily and has better features like a wider feed tube. This one will outlast me I think. I love it! It has no drawbacks that I can see. Very much like my old one only newer and stronger.
