I have 20 cup Cuisinart DLC
Great for pureeing, cheese grating
But not for discs to slice vegetables
not good for julienne
cannot do french fries
Feed tube way too small cannot put in a big enough piece of vegetable to make julienne more than an inch long! These slicing, julienne and french fry discs do not work. Total waste.

We recently had family get together and used the Cuisinart DLC XP quite a bit. Having a complete set of blades and discs made the dinner preparation less stressful. Salads and slaws (several varieties) were accomplished in very short order. Having the ability to vary the size of the shredded and sliced foods going into the salads provided variety in flavor and texture; you might call it custom made. We have relied on the Cuisinart food processor since the introduction of the CFP 5A in the early 70's and the acquisition of the 20 cup XP and now this set of blades shows that Cuisinart has not rested on its laurels but continues to produce the best and strongest food processor and blade system. The only draw back, a minor one, is the safety system. But that does not diminish the quality of the product. And Abe's had the best price.
