I returned the unit before using it because of rough or missing non-stick surface. I felt the general quality was missing. When I compare the quality of this $100 griddle to very cheap griddles (less than $25) I could not justify the additional expense.

I am responding for my daughter. I purchased this item for her as a gift. She and her husband have two children. She called to say they LOVE it; the backsplash is great, it cooks evently, cleans up like a charm. For the first time ever they are able to make lots of food at once.

Pro: I use this griddle mostly to cook breakfast. We have 5 children so that's no small task. This is the best griddle I have ever owned or used. The surface is high quality and solid construction. The frame is simple and sturdy. The heat distribution us even and no noticable hot spots. The temperature is very accurate. Truly a high quality well made product. Easy to clean.
Con: the drip tray is small and difficult to remove when hot. No warming tray.
