After reading many raclette product reviews, I gave this one as a gift and they have been thrilled with its performance. I have had similar product for years and truly enjoy raclette centered meals.

My family and I spent time in Lyon, France and one of our favorite meals was raclette. It is a wonderfully tasty and hearty meal. We've looked for restaurants locally that have raclette but to no avail. The next best option was to find a personal raclette grill. It doesn't have the same charm as a large raclette grill with half a wheel of raclette, but it is much more practical. This grill serves it's purpose fantastically.

We first discovered raclette in Switzerland 10 years ago but didn't realize we could make it at home here in the US till we saw this grill. It does everything advertised and makes preparing a raclette meal relatively easy. The grill surface can get a little crowded when you have more than four people, so we tried grilling our meats on a barbecue in advance and using the raclette grill just for the vegetables. It worked out much better. We bought the model with the reversible teflon grill. Don't know how well the model with the stone grill surface works. We brush a little olive oil on the teflon grill before cooking the vegetables. It doesn't take very much oil. Also recommend sending for the Swissmar plastic tongs to turn food cooking on the grill without scratching the surface.
