My wife's feet are always cold. The SH-1506 quietly puts the heat where she needs it so we don't have to crank-up the house thermostat. It is very quiet and the humidifier works great. We have owned a lot of small electric heaters for supplemental heat, but the SH-1506 is the best we have ever purchased. We love it!

The control knob should have a colored or tapered tip to indicate where it is pointing. I could not see the tiny groove and it took quite a while to figure out why my humidifier had stopped working
