The knives are great - VERY sharp and feel good in your hand. The block is the best I've seen - space for the knives plus steel, shears, cleaver and a carving fork - I don't think any other knife block does that. Like all good knives, they should be handwashed as dishwasher detergent will eventually dull knives and they may be damaged during the cycle. [...]
