I've only used this once so far (for canning), but it worked great! And it was really fast. The one thing I would recommend is to read ALL of the instructions very carefully before beginning. There are things you must do that are not listed in the recipes (probably because it would be redundant), like "venting" the cooker. If you want to do a lot of canning you might want a bigger one (this one can hold 5 pt or 4 qt jars, in my experience). It was the perfect size for me, though, as it is compact enough that I still will want to pull it out for other things. And the accessories it comes with are perfect. Everything you need. Love it!
