Die-cast construction molds molten metals together at intense temperatures. The result is durability and more refined finish. The LED panel illuminates according to the selected setting on the variable browning control. The display acts as a toasting progress indicator counting down how long is left in the toasting cycle and beeps when the cycle is complete. An internal smart chip lowers the bread into the toasting slots with a single touch and also regulates the toasting time. On the "A Bit More" setting, bread is automatically lowered for additional toasting time. This innovative feature automatically raises the bread carriage during toasting without canceling or resetting the cycle. This enables you to view and, if necessary, cancel the browning cycle at anytime.

This is not only attractive setting on the counter, it also is the very best toaster I have ever had for even toasting, with the slot size actually holding the items in the toaster correctly. The one side toast for Bagels is a wonderful option.

We love this toaster. Toasts even, and I even
use the bagel feature for hamburger buns to get
them toasted on one side. After finding toast
on the floor and counter from previous toasters,
I went on a hunt for a guality toaster. I know
it is pricey, but I look forward to toast in the
morning. Works great, looks great and I highly
recommend the Breville.
