wasn't sure if I would like the single slot style or not, but it actually works great. toasts evenly and it is very nice looking. only thing i noticed is if you put frozen bread in you need to crank it up so all the blue bars light up. for some reason it "re-sets" to down a few notches. unless i was supposed to do something to the settings, didn't look at the directions because-it's a toaster. plug it in, insert bread, toast.
