This Digital Convection Toaster Oven in black and metal from Krups is ideal for limited kitchen space. Its baking function circulates heated air around food for a faster, more evenly distributed cooking result. It runs on 1600-watts of power to produce maximum heat. This toaster oven also features an illuminated LCD control panel with easy-to-use controls and high quality soft-touch buttons, six controlled cooking presets for one-step cooking and a reflective crumb tray to produce the best toasting results in a toaster oven. In addition, there is a precise temperature control, defrost function, and a digital clock. Its nonstick interior surface is easy to clean. Great machine best ever. Cooks quicker than the regular oven.
Careful, if you splatter on the inside of the door it gets under a stainless piece and it cannot be cleaned.
This is my second one, the first one only lasted a couple of years, a big disappointment. It was so good though I replaced it with the same product

I hate to cook but when made as easy as the Krups does it becomes a bit more appealing.

The convection can reduce cooking times in most cases 20 - 30 % from conventional ovens. The multi cooking levels allows you to pretty much cook anything small that you would use an oven for. The 6 heating coils and rotating heat avoid burning that happens with most toaster ovens.

The 6 presets are not needed so if looking to save some $$$ go with the FBC2 instead of 4-5

no white spots for toast or bagels, way more fun to use than a full size oven.

After we remodeled our kitchen, I decided it was time for a new toaster oven (our old one just looked too beat up and the knobs weren't working properly any more). Cook's Illustrated magazine highly recommended this Krups toaster oven for its superior baking/toasting. Although it was pricier than most toaster ovens, I decided it was worth it because of its modern, streamlined appearance and the intuitive nature of the controls. So far it's worked beautifully--toasts bread perfectly and bakes things very quickly. Very easy to clean. I've only had it for a month, but no problems yet.

I've tried several traditional recipies using the convection feature. It cooks faster, and food is less dry and wonderfully browned. Nacho's were something we tried ther other night and it was really wonderfully melted cheese. Baked goods are really fantastic! I love that it fits a 9x9 pan so I don't have to heat up the whole oven to cook a side dish or lasagna!

It's like a light show to watch it work. The racks are a little awkward to adjust (you have to remember to do that), and initially the crumb tray rattled in convection mode, but that stopped after a couple uses. It's a great machine!

This toaster oven heats evenly...I made some of the best baked potatoes in it. I filled the entire oven with potatoes and they all came out cooked the same. My teenage son figured out how to use it in just a matter of minutes and uses it for heating all of his frozen food items. It looks great sitting out on the cabinet, I don't feel like I have to hide it away. I have only good things to say about this oven.

This is head and shoulders above Cuisinart and Black & Decker toaster ovens, both of which we have had before. Makes very even, well browned toast and bagels. The manufacturer should give examples of cooking times for various foods in the Convection Oven feature --- as this is hard to figure out. We think this product is worth the extra price (over competitors) that it costs.

Put a bagel in- came out "perfectly toasted" which to me is a great test to see if there is sufficient heating grids and the actual heat is spread so that there are no bare/burn spots.

This toaster can toast: evenly, perfectly. It is perfect for heating up smallish foods and cooking many others. I tried to stretch its capabilities by baking cookies (didn't work great) and cooking fine meats (lamb worked, beef didn't). I am still discovering new uses for this fabulous little oven. I highly recommend it to anyone who can afford it. If, like me, you deeply appreciate a finely toasted bread product, this is for you. The other uses are just icing on the cake.

This is a great oven that although takes a longer time for basic tasks (like toasting bread), cooks evenly and well. However, i found that i had to monitor the oven if whatever i was cooking produced too much steam because the steam would cause the electrical controls to malfunction. If i waved away the steam, the controls would be fine; however this is an annoying and cumbersome task...perhaps the unit i have does not have a door that shuts properly...if you don't encounter this problem, it's a great oven! also, the pan is a little cheap and the nonstick coating comes off easily.

Easy to use -- cuts down on cooling time. Only con is that insert pans wear quickly. They should be replaceable.
