I've used the waffle maker for four breakfasts, cooking for between 2 and 6 people each time. The waffles are deliciously crisp outside and soft inside. The cooking is fast and easy. The waffle on the electrical cord end of the unit seems to get a little hotter so that waffle is a little crisper than the other waffle. The drip tray helps to cut down on mess. My first waffle iron had removable grids, but my second one I owned did not. What a chore that one was. There is no way I would go back to a waffle iron without removable grids. Clean up is so easy that I won't mind making waffles more often. I can make up a large batch on the week end and pop them in the toaster on work days for a tasty and quick breakfast. I am quite happy with this waffle iron.

In spite of the glowing reviews I had read before purchasing this product, I am a bit disappointed. I think the turning around feature is a great plus compared to my previous waffle maker, and the waffles that can come out o fthis waffle maker can be pretty jummy; nice texture, nice size and nice flavor. But the dough in the middle of the iron cooks faster than the dough near the outside rims. That makes for a fairly uneven waffle, which is too bad. Also, one has to get use to the timing issue, given the absence of a timer or alarm on the waffle maker itself. And 4-5 minutes is a fairly long time, easy to forget.

We have three of these now in our office; every few months we have Waffle Day, and feed about 150 people. Great machine, makes excellent waffles. Only ding: a little plastic piece on the handle-pivot falls off almost immediately (on all three) but doesn't seem to have an important function.
