We purchased this TV to fill out my 'man cave'. My wife had allowed me to redo our basement and I wanted a large screen wall mounted unit. After research, almost all reviews still said that the best picture quality was via Plasma. While the LCD's were attractive due to weight and power advantages, I had been watching an 18 year old CRT TV and wanted something to produce a great picture, one that would impress my guests. This TV does not disappoint. I love HD NFL on Sunday and the college games are terrific. Non-HD programming is still very good, but you can tell a difference. My in-laws were so impressed, they bought two of these exact TV's for their new home.Abe's offered an HDMI cable during the order process [...]as well as an upgrade to the wall mount unit. In hindsight, I would have definitely ordered the HDMI cable with the TV (the local resellers really stick it to you with their HDMI pricing). [...] free wall mount kit were more than adequate. They were the best price-point [...] for this TV when I ordered it. Have used Abe's before for photographic equipment as well and have never been disappointed in their products or pricing.
