I am usually OK at setting up electronics, and the set up of the TV was SUPER SIMPLE! I didn't have any problems at all, and the number of connections available is AWESOME! Definitely makes it easy to connect to the stereo, DVD, BluRay Player and Wii!

EXCELLENT picture quality at a great price point. I will say that I turned off Samsung's "Auto Motion Plus" because it was giving me a slight headache, although it might have just been the upgrade to a new TV altogether.

The sound is lacking, but I bought this TV for the picture and bottom line...its AWESOME.

This set was rated well on Consumer Reports. We looked at this and the Sony Bravia, they were about the same but the Samsung was $500 less and Abes had the best price out there. It was easy to set up and we found the optimum settings online. HDTV looks strange compared to standard def TV and takes some getting used to. If you don't use the HDTV cable you have to change the picture settings for each channel. On the good remote side, Samsung has some picture modes and sizes that are easy to cycle through with the dedicated button on the remote,but on the downside more detailed settings are more time consuming to get to and adjust. [...] I didn't need the cables that Abes recommended because FIOS gave us one and the Blu-Ray came with one.

This is a feature-rich LCD monitor. As set up from the factory, everything has the appearance of a "soap opera" on the screen. The instructions offer no information on how to change that. Through trial and error, I found that setting "Motion" to "Sharp" seemed to fix the problem.

I'd buy this set again.

The TV arrived intact as promised and with the help of a neighbor we assembled the base (3 minutes)then plugged it in and the picture is just what Abe's of Maine & Samsung promised, truly exceptional. 120 hz at their best. The upcoming Masters at Augusta never looked better.
