My Mom insisted on buying a TV for my son's upstairs playroom. It needed to be large, but I didn't want her to spend a lot. This was the cheapest large TV I could find, and I worried about dropping to 720. Web surfing and computer usage does suffer a bit, but, for watching TV and movies, this is as good or better than the expensive 1080 LCD downstairs! The sound and picture are truly far better than I expected! I rated this 4 stars, then added a star because of the amazing price.

My husband watches a lot of sports on TV. As promised, the plasma does a great job with refresh. The picture quality is as good as we could want. We watch TV in a room with 3 window walls (with blinds) and the picture is still good. I am sure there are better but not for this price!
