Overall I like the tv. It has good picture quality, looks nice, is easy to setup with many connections and options. First thing to know is burn in is real. It has what they call burn in protection but it doesn't work. It says it comes on after ten minutes of an image staying on the screen but it doesn't help. I'm hoping that what i've read is true in that it says that the first 100 hours are the most susceptible to burn in. Everything burns in right now and i've had it for just over 50 days and probably about 100 hours of viewing. They do have a scrolling tool that you can use to wipe away the burned in images but it has to be left on for at least an hour and i've found longer. I use it quite often after every news cast, game playing experience, paused movie..you name it. If this doesn't get better my next tv will be an LCD. The sound system is not great either but I planned on a receiver with surround sound anyway. The table stand with the tv is pretty flimsy and makes the tv susceptible to falling over on someone. I have a swivel wall mount that I love. There is hum from the tv as mentioned in reviews but they counter that with magnets on the power cord which does help. I hope to change my tune on the burn in later but for now it's very annoying.
