I rate it as difficult to set up only because I am befuddled by anything more complex than plug-in-and-turn on. In my defense, the directions really are daunting - but Comcast helped us get it set up via telephone.

I saw complaints in other reviews about the tv going dark after installation - however, the directions are very clear (yes, I did get this far) about how to set the tv up to avoid this problem.

This tv is way more sophisticated than I am - it's good for someone who is a tv/PC/gaming enthusiast rather than a network watcher like me.

It is great as a computer monitor. The wall mount was really easy and it was free! The entire setup took less than 30 minutes, [...]. I can run my PC with HDMI full 1080P and get incredible resolution! I love the options on the sides to input devices temporarily, in case friends come over with cameras or gaming consoles, the TV does not need to be taken down off the wall mount. The USB inputs I use a lot. Also it has an LAN/ Ethernet connection in the back, not sure exactly what its for, but I hooked it up and it doesn't seem to do anything, perhaps i just have to read up about it.

This is an awesome TV. I have other Samsung LCDs and have never been disappointed. The picture is fantastic with all types of inputs (HD and nonHD). I am impressed by the bright picture in a particularly bright room. My family loves the simplicity of the controls. I would highly recommend.

I wasn't overly keen on the 'touch of red' frame, but after a while it sort of grows on you. The picture is great, although not as dynamic as our Panni G10 plasma. The colors are clean and clear and the setup protocols are easy to navigate. What more is there to expect from a set?
I have always felt that when you buy the 'top of the line', there is rarely, if ever, any regrets.

This is an excellent TV. You get what you pay for. I use it for my Xbox 360 and it works like a charm, and the only minor, and I mean very minor, flaw, because I'm so OCD/picky, is the refresh rate is not quite up to par to what it was on my SD (stress: VERY MINOR, barely noticeable), but that could very well be the 360's processing fault, considering the TV has a 120Hz refresh rate. Great buy!

I shopped hard for this TV -- reading reviews, comparing features, looking in stores, etc. -- so I knew pretty much what I was getting, even though it is my first HDTV. It has not disappointed me, especially after I switched my cable TV provider and got fiber optic cable service, which really gives this TV something to display that will knock your socks off . The one thing that I would tell people is to register the product before you do anything else (which Samsung merely "suggests" that you do at the beginning of the installation instructions). What Samsung does not tell you is that only after you register the product -- and create a user name and password on its website -- can you search the whole site and retrieve the owner's manual for the product, which I really wanted to look at before I did any actual installation. Be aware that the manual is in a "DjVu" PDF format -- which I had never heard of -- but with a little searching on the Web, you can find a free download of the DjVu plug-in, and before too long you'll have a PDF copy of the manual on your computer, suitable for printing or for consultation during installation/adjustment.
