This is a really good TV for the price. Our family really enjoys it for Movies and Games. My only complaint is that the sound is not as crisp as I would like it to be. The sound is not poor, it's just average, but it will do.

Great flat screen. Beautiful picture, easy to set up. My only very minor complaint is the remote control is about 1/3 larger than it needs to be; great if you're older or have trouble with your eye site.

My old TV from 1985 couldn't hold the color any more or I would not have bought a new TV even for HD, but I had to so I went straight to Consumer Reports and researched TVs I went directly from their site to buy their Best But. I have to admit this TV is fantastic. The difference is amazing and I am glad I was forced to step into the 21st century.

So far everything is worked out fine. Beautiful picture. Good sound although for certain things like movies or sports a home theater set up would be nice. The real test will be how well the TV will play with my pc.
For those mounting the TV on the wall, you will have to disconnect the stand. My set arrived with the stand already screwed in place...which is what I wanted.

This TV is great. We weren't able to connect the HDMI cable because the HD DVR box doesn't work with it. But the component video cables produce a sharp, vibrant picture that is viewable up close and to the side. I am very happy with this TV. I spent alot of time researching before buying this one. Highly recommend.

This TV replaces an old 20 inch set in my bedroom, so most anything would be an improvement, but as reported in Consumer Reports, this is the best! And considering buying from Abe's with free delivery, and no sales tax, and a free wall bracket, this just couldn't be beat! [...]As stated above, I find the controller to be poorly designed. It is 10 inches long with a bend at the end. I think that a flip type cover as is on some other brands is more user friendly. And the response to the controller seems to be slow but maybe the batteries that came with it are weak. I'll try fresh and see if that improves the response. But again, the quality of the picutre can not be beat!

For the price, this TV is the best in its class. After pouring through reviews, going to the store to see models side by side, and talking to owners of various models, I knew I should go for this TV. It has a superb, crisp, and bright HD image and displays DVDs, Blu-Rays, and games on the PS3 in brilliant full 1080P. At 30,000:1 its got the largest contrast ratio for a TV around $1000 and that's what really makes the difference. Colors come alive.

On the downside, I wouldn't recommend the built-in speaker, but I'm a sound snob, so for most applications its probably fine. Otherwise, my only compliant is that it doesn't handle standard-def cable so well. I have my cable box connected via HDMI - HD channels seem to vary in image quality, but for the most part, those channels look fantastic. Its my old cable channels that don't look so hot. The TV displays those channels in 4:3 (which is good since I don't like a stretched image), but since it is technically uprezing the image, shows look a bit pixelated and blocky. Fast action sequences are really effected. However, I wasn't expecting SD images to look great on an HDTV, so its a downside I can live with until all TV is offered in HD.

Great TV for a first time HDTV buyer. Can't beat this quality for the price.

I looked at a few different brands and decided on the Samsung LN series. I looked at different brands from different angles and when you looked at the samsung from the side, it didn't dim out like other ones did.

I then looked online and saw abesofmaine had the best price than anyone else out there. I received the TV a few days later and couldnt be happier. The image is great and looks really good.

This television gets good reviews all over the place. Works well - pretty good tuner I think - was able to detect a lot of channels during the set up scan that I would never have found (we connected to our cable company but do not pay for cable - it is all free channels like 4 different NBCs, we are not stealing cable don't worry). Picture is great, price is fantastic, [...]Lets be honest though - the sound borderline sucks - simple remedy is hooking up the stereo reciever to it... now it is the perfect TV.

Had a problem in the 1st week. The one horizontal line of pixels disappeared (became black). I had a black line in the middle of the screen. I called for a service, but it have fixed by itself. But I don’t have any other complains for that TV.
