I am using the product in my living room. It has a very nice and bright display. Even though the room has a lot of ambient light, it is still easy to view the screen. I don't have a HD Cable Box yet, but the channels that do come in in HD are spectacular.
I enjoy watching Blue Ray Movies on my Samsung Blue Ray Player which is also hooked up to my 5.1 system and I feel like I'm in a movie theater. The HDMI cable makes it really simple to connect.
The Remote control is very user friendly but does have a sort of curved back which makes it easier to slide off the coffee table, if not put on completely. The connection possibilities are plenty and easy to access. Finally I also like the swivel stand that comes with the TV.

We purchased this TV for our bedroom since our other model was so old and almost broken. My husband begged and begged for a new TV and I finally agreed. I didn't realize how much I would LOVE our new TV. This picture quality is superb- it doesn't get any better. The design is sleek and attractive, so there aren't any distractions from the picture.
I can honestly say that this is one of our best purchases ever!!!

We have this TV in our bedroom, connected to cable and a blu-ray DVD player. I had my eye on this set-up for quite some time, since seeing it (Samsung 40" LCD 630, Samsung blu-ray DVD) in a dept. store. Great, clear, crisp picture, audio much better than I expected. World series looked great. I can't find anything to criticize. I don't usually watch much TV, but I will now.

A fantastic purchase. Image looks great, very compatible with a range of devices, including USB and Ethernet. Network widgets are not next generation, but maybe there will be firmware updates that improve this functionality. HDMI audio passthrough to optical surround is crippled (like all Samsungs) and TV doesn't have optical input, so unless you are creative you may need a HDMI capable surround receiver. That being said, I have a Mac Mini running the Plex HTPC software hooked up to this with a beautiful image, PS3 Blueray and games look fantastic, nice remote with fair customizations (not universal). All-in-all I'm very happy. For the price, there was none better and I'm confident I'll be just as happy in 3-4 years.

This Samsung TV has a great picture. I have Direct TV and the HD channels are pretty much realistic. Any computer generated animation on a TV show or commercial looks amazing. The TV looks cool, it super bright and handles fast moving scenes well. It has a motion smoothing function that works great but sometimes if a person moves their head slowly toward or away from the camera, their head will change shape slightly due to the smoothing. Watch Knowing with Nicolas Cage to see the effect when he's talking to his son at his bedside. Anyway, the TV is amazing and affordable. Abes of Maine rocks too.
