Great Picture, every connection that you could need, ultra thin, very light. However...

Prior to purchase I researched the product and even downloaded the manual. We were planning to mount the TV to wall high enough to be out of reach of our three year old. The location was also in the corner of the room, so we needed an adjustable arm wall mount. Prior to purchasing the arm wall mount we needed I consulted the Samsung manual which indicated that the wall mounting holes for a 40" TV were VESA 200mm x 200mm. Upon taking the TV out of the box, I discovered the wall mounting holes were VESA 400mm x 400mm. I was rather annoyed by this. After a great deal of inconvenience, I got the TV mounted on the wall as desired and it looks and works great.

You will need to take some time to adjust the settings from the factory settings to your personal liking.

I haven't scratched the surface of the capabities of this TV yet.

We have just been using the TV the last 2 weeks and are waiting for a HD cable box so we have not tested the HDTV yet. The TV is well designed and provides a clear picture. The sound is just OK but this is what we expected for the size and thickness of the system. We are purchasing a separate sound system with receiver, HD DVD, etc. The cost is more than other systems but we purchased because of the LED back lighting. We are quite happy with the TV after this short time period. Hopefully it will give us years of good service.

This TV is the best on the market. You can buy cheaper TVs, but LED TV is great. It is like watch a magazine picture in full motion.

Didn't really need another TV, but saw this in a store and absolutely fell in love with the ultra slim profile and amazing picture quality. But the price in the store was more than we were willing to pay.Did several days of research online and was convinced this TV was for me (to complement the other two Sony XBR flat pannel TVs in our house).My wife is estatic and loves the ultra slim design!As a returning Abe's of Maine customer, I felt very comfortable buying such an expensive item online. Great price[...]As this went into our bedroom, we are glad we selected the 40" as anything larger would have been a bit obnoxious.Did I mention that we love the super slime design?Only negatives, is the audio should be higher quality for a TV of this price. But as it is in our bedroom, we really have no need to crank it up. And it's unfortunate that the remote is not a universal one to also control our cable/DVR.Do yourself a favor and buy this LCD with LED backlit TV and you will not be disappointed!

Took forever to get picture to look ok through the HDMI out on my 1 year old top of the line video card. Resolution needs to be manually adjusted and sharpness set to zero...

This is my third HD TV. It is heads and shoulders better than my other units. Movements are extremely crisp and the picture really jumps out at you. Sound isn't very good, but I have it hooked up to a receiver so that doesn't matter. Excellent model and it has an excellent design.

We hung this in our master bedroom and could not be more pleased. Love this "ultra thin" model and the picture is incredible. My husband says he may never leave our bedroom. Not to worry, I push him out to work every day. We both would highly recommend this model and are even thinking of buying another for our home theatre.

We easily connected a SONY Dvd player and now, it addition to cable programming,can enjoy superb movies. Our TV signal is provided by a cable box. Hopwever, we found the remote on/off a little complicated. We solved the problem by connecting the TV's power plugged into the cable box and leaving the cable box on all the time. We change channels by using the cable box remote and using the SAMSUNG remote for TV on/off, volume and all the other functions.

Used for general viewing and movies.
The internet connections, wigets, photos, different media uses, design, size, weight, and sleekness are fantastic.
Hard to change out different forms of hardware because it has been mounted to the wall unless you have then long fingers. Its lacking the dlp technology that seem to be only available in the larger models. Coming from a person who is use to using projectors with dlp technology you can tell the difference. Overall a great quality picture. Somewhat life like. For a novice person who is not use to viewing quality pictures this is great buy.

Great set for the bedroom, it just fits into my wood cabinet. It replaces a 40" Sony Bravia 1080p HDTV with 60 Hz flat screen. Very noticeably better resolution and good-bye to the big black spots when the motion gets too fast 120 Hz is the best, I cannot tell the difference between that and 240 Hz. The thin design and light weight make it easy to move.The sound level does not seem to respond well to the remote, keep having to push the button rather than simply holding it down.

This HDTV is perfect for the bedroom. It's thin, light weight and was easy to set-up. However, if you have older components you want to hook up (i.e. VHS player, 6-disc CD changer, DVD player, etc.), you will only be able to hook up one. If your components can be hooked up via HDMI cable, you'll be ok. It also has a USB hook up. Haven't try the internet or computer hook ups yet. Sound is ok just from the speakers of the HDTV for TV watching but if you are going to play audio or movies, you will need to hook up a speaker system because the sound is weak. Haven't done that to date. Still deciding what speaker set to get. Overall, it is a great picture. I got HD service with DirecTV.

I received the TV about 2 weeks ago and am completely happy with the performance and picture. Getting used to some of the controls and settings has taken some time, but all in all, installation and operation are fairly easy.

The one basic negative I had was that you need assistance in putting it where you want. In other words, you will need help to mount it on the wall or there will need to be someone holding things just to get it on the stand.

As a whole, the TV is great and I would definitely recommend it to anyone interested.
