I am a female, who happens to LOVE football and watches it religiously every Sunday (all day). I was in the market for the new LED HDTV's and have always trusted Samsung. I did a lot of research online to pick the right LED tv and found this product to be the best bang for my buck. Boy was I ever right! This puppy is freakin' aweseome!!! The picture quality is phenominal...my jaw dropped when I saw the picture for the first time...and smiled from ear to ear in delight. I'm telling you right now, this is the best TV ever. There are numerous options to play with, and an easy menu that guides you. My husband was in charge of adding the HTIB to the TV and now we have the perfect entertainment display on the market!! I am in love with my new TV and find myself wanting to turn it on when I wake up in the morning. You will love, love, love this Samsung LED. Worth every penny!!!

The thinness of this TV is awesome! I strongly recommend you also purchase the Samsung wall mount (#WMN1000B) that was designed for this particular line of ultra thin TV's. It allows the unit to be hung much like a portrait on the wall instead of on a bulky traditional TV mount. I have attached an A/V receiver, PC, Mac, DVD Player, and a Wii to this TV and they all look amazing when displayed on this TV.

I also recommend you pick up some 'flat' HDMI cables so the TV can rest flat against the wall and not be nudged out a bit from the wall due to fat cables.

For those wanting an attractive TV when off, this is the creme of the crop. It's glossy black finish and super thin panel look beautiful anywhere you put it. And with Samsung's wall mount (sold separately), you could hang it flush with the wall, just like a picture frame.

However, if your uses go beyond decorative or casual viewing, there are far better options out there. This is an LCD/LED TV, and like others in its bloodline, it suffers in image quality when compared to Plasma. Most Plasma TV's from the likes of Panasonic and Pioneer have far deeper blacks, no motion artifacting, and no restrictive viewing angles. But they are thicker and use more energy.

I use this in my living room where TV viewing is more social. In my bedroom, where I prefer theater-like film viewing, I have a Pioneer Kuro.

So, as if buying a car, do you prefer how it looks, or how it drives? If you said looks, this is your TV. But for something that drives well, Plasma is still king.

A pretty good TV. Dark scenes can be difficult to see but otherwise the picture is very good. Sad to learn that you CAN burn an image in it if you pause the picture.

Unless you plan to hang this directly (and flat) on the wall with no tilt mount, the 1.5" demension is meaningless. On a tilting wall mount the stand-off is the same as with thicker units.

Use it for hours every day. Love it. Only has one component input instead of two, and it didn't do well when I tried to use a simple RCA splitter on the video side of the component hookup. Got around it with new cables though - no big deal. I lot of people complain about the sound, but I think it sounds just fine!

Had some issue with the ordering process, but Abes ultimately came through when I pressed them on some details.

Our friends insisted over the past 4 years that we needed to enter the flat screen market. My wife and I chose to wait for prices to level and improvements in technology. After extensive research and viewing numerous options, we selected the Samsung UN46B6000 LED about 2 months ago. It was worth the wait!

This TV has incredible clarity, vivid colors, minimal motion blur and other than being at an event live, the picture is nearly flawless. If you are a sports enthusiast you will not be disappointed. Sitcoms such as the Office are incredible - you feel you are there on the set. Movies are only better in an actual theater. (We are U-verse subscribers)

One complaint I read about about LED is the difficulty when dealing with very dark scenes (think of The Dark Knight). I have noticed this, but unless you only watch such movies/shows, I find it quite irrelevant. The speakers are not the best, so I would recommend a surround sound system or sound bar. Again, the sound quality should not prevent you from buying this TV.

My wife's comment sums it up best: "When we go to our friends' homes and watch TV, it will now be a downgrade." I couldn't agree more.

I mainly use it connected to a media center PC. I have it connected using a dvi to himi cable. Windows looks great and everything is readable. I plan on trying some games out, but haven't hooked a gaming pc up to it yet.

The image is fantastic once you get all your colors set up in windows. When you switch to DVI-PC in the source name it seems to dull the image and disable a lot of the settings in the menu. So, you probably will want to tweak that in windows for both windows and video.

Only real gripes about it are the speakers, which I don't use unless I just have regular tv on in the background. They don't sound great but they get the job done. When the screen is very dark, you can see light leaking all over the screen, the image is still good but it can be a bit distracting. I'm also not a fan of how somethings can't be quickly switched without going to the menu. It could use to be a bit more intuitive.

I haven't noticed too much blur, or any real image problems other than the dark parts. I love it, it is a fantastic monitor. it has a very bright image, much brighter than I expected. The thing you have to love most about it is it's beauty. It looks like a piece of electronic art. It's a great tv for those who's significant other doesn't like the look of most electronics.

Amazing resolution and set, perhaps second only to the Sony XBR8 in the price range. When you can dramatically see the difference in quality between 1080i FIOS HD broadcasts and a Blu-ray movie, you know the picture is dramatically good.

The only major issue with the set is that the LED lighting has issues when there is a small amount of text on the screen and the rest black. It is always much dimmer than it should be because the LED brightness cannot compensate correctly in that situation. Otherwise the LED lighting gives amazing black levels, but the technology will surely get better with time.

Overall, an outstanding value.

I use this TV in the living room of my 1400 square foot loft and all I have to say is...I had a housewarming party the other night and the main attraction was this TV (over the olympic sized infinity pool, jacuzzi, ultra posh clubroom/lounge on the roofdeck, beautiful girls, etc) The picture quality cannot be matched by any product on the market at the present and this comes at a very affordable price compared to the high end LCDs we are used to (Bravia XBR, etc).

Watching the picture on this tv is unlike any other viewing experience you've ever had - in fact, it is so crisp and clear that it almost seems like everything has been cgi'd. Being a sports guru, I have to say that this is the best it's ever been for watching sports on tv.

The only drawbacks are that this TV comes with pathetically weak speakers (which shouldn't really be an issue for most ppl since it would be reasonable to assume that anyone spending the money on a product like this would attach an external audio system to it) and the screen does have glare issues when in direct sunlight. Both issues can easily be overcome though, so these "drawbacks" didn't lower the score for me.
