Comments about SHARP AQUOS LC-32D64U 32" LCD TV:

I am particularly pleased with the sharp resolution. Take a magnifying glass to it and one can see how good it is.

My neighbor has a new similar size TV of a supposedly HD capability and the convergence is terrible. I was particularly concerned about that when selecting this set and this TV has the best resolution I have ever seen.

On this comment I was one of those Heath-Kit TV build-it-yourself guys many years back and I went through the throws of getting the convergence right on those CRT tubes. What a chore. So I know what good convergence requires, but in this case, no sweat.

I have one minor complaint about how the TV was shipped. It was double boxed and that was great. However, the outside box had no instruction on not dropping, throwing or otherwise protecting it, while the inside box had all those warnings. Perhaps the TV didn't need those warnings.

I'd still buy from Abe's again happily.

Comments about SHARP AQUOS LC-32D64U 32" LCD TV:

I connected it to my Windows XP computer via a DVI-to-HDMI adapter cable bought at a local computer superstore. Now getting full 1080p imaging for photo display. I don't see how it can get much better than this. No need to have posters made, and the images look a lot better in 1080p anyway. Also, it has quite beefy wallmount provisions, which require a larger wallmount bracket than you might expect. Well-worth the extra trouble though. We are using this in a church, where it is very nice to have all necessary controls (including source selection) on the monitor itself. No need to keep track of a remote.[...]
