I have two Sony Bravia TVs. Sony makes the best looking sets and picture. And they last!!! This set has a great look and very HOT HD picture. I would always buy a Sony product as I have for 25 years

use in the living room and it does not overpower the room. Have a 1994 XBR and moved it to the bedroom. Also have a Sony Bravia 26" in the kitchen. Looked at the on line reviews and it was not the top one but second. Since I had experience with the Sony XBR, went with it and it is great choice. Hooked up to DirecTV HD Satellite Receiver for great HD programing.

This is a good product after finished setup, perfect after all but I almost return the item because the manufacturing presetted the screen to light sensitive when the first turn on the TV I saw a very dark screen display, don't know how to fix until exhausting and to return to next day and turn off the light sensitive then I can see bright screen and good TV.

I am using this TV in my bedroom and it has the brightest clearest picture I have ever seen. Not just on LCD but Plasma too. When you play a Bluray disc with this TV the sharpness and clarity is beyond compare. It is actually better than being there. As far as setup we had it set up and running in about 30 minutes with absolutely no problems. I would definitely buy this set again.

I use this product as our main television at home. It was very easy to set up, especially with the HDMI ports. The TV Guide feature is nice to have, but if you have a cable box, it won't work (the cable box has more info anyways). I find the picture is very clear and there is little to no glare, unlike other tv's. Furthermore, I can see a clear picture from any seat in the room. I highly recommend this television if you are looking for a high quality tv at this size.

TV ARRIVED IN A FEW DAYS.INSTRUCTIONS FOR SETUP WERE VERY GOOD.THE SET HAS PLENTY OF CONNECTIONS AND WAS BRIGHT AND VERY SHARP WITH THE FACTORY SETTINGS.

Full 1080p in a 37" package. Great for smaller rooms with a viewing distance of less than 8'. The digital output is optical only, which is inconvenient. Lack of infrared transmitter for headphones is missed (earlier Sony TVs had this). The tuner is slow when compared with analog only TVs. Picture is great, TV guide is handy, but has annoying advertisements that can not be disabled.

I've had the TV for a few weeks, and I enjoy the built-in onscreen TV Guide so much. It also has nice controls & interface. The Picture quality blows in HD, and even SD & Analog channels are upmixed to have decent quality.
I recommend it for sure.

Beautiful sharp picture with good sound quality.
Its a feature rich TV and easy to use.
I bought this model to use in the bedroom. I especially like the Auto Sound Correction that eliminates the loud increase during commercial breaks. And 4 HDMI ports ain't bad either.

The SONY "BR" models are incredible! I had to "stuff" a 37" model into an existing piece of furniture and was a little hesitant to spend the extra $s for the BR model. I am so glad I did! The picture is amazing, the HDMI connections and the on-screen menus made setup a breeze, and all the other components work with it beautifully! I am one happy camper and even my wife can now operate everything.[...]

We have a 3-section console that required a specific width. Having the built-in speakers on the bottom of the TV allowed this TV to just fit in the space. And being a Sony product that I trust helped.

Was looking for a 37" 1080p unit, and this worked for me. Picture quality is excellent, sound quality is good but not overly impressive.
