Picture extremely good for the price (but not the best on the market).
Good for bright rooms (bright pic and low glare).

Easy setup... Easy wall mounting... Great picture... The thing that was suprising was how good the internal speakers sound. They're not replacing my stereo but for the news and kid shows, we're not switching to the stereo like we used to. The only negative is that the screen was TOO bright when first setup, had to turn the backlight way down (not really a negative, but the only thing that I could think of).

I needed a 40" flat screen that fit in a 38" wide space. The Z series Sony Bravia was the only model I could find that did so. I was able to put it where I wanted it without having to downsize to a 37" flat screen. Abe's price was [$] less than my local electronics chain store.

I spent time researching an LCD that would fit within the confines of my built-in cabinet pocket doors, 38", and wanted a minimum, 40" LCD. This TV is fabulous and only approx 37.25" wide!
I am very impressed with the slim bezel and thin design.
I am enjoying this Z series television and highly recommend it.

We spent a lot of time picking out the right tv for our home. We wanted something that was great for watching our Blu-Ray movies on and Sony seemed to be the perfect match for our PS3. Once we picked out what brand we liked we just needed to narrow down what model. THE SONY Z-SERIES SLIM MODEL WAS A PERFECT CHOICE! It has all the features we wanted(1080p, 120 hz, sleek design, broad color range, plenty of connections, and one of the "greenest" tv's around). Truly a beautiful tv.

Great HDTV that can grow with you home theater for years to come. Perfect for small area's. It will go where you can only put a 37" Samsung or LG. Though if you have have the space their 40' or 42" models might be a better value.

I bought this TV because of the very narrow bezel. The W series and V series have the same basic features and cost less but if you need it to fit in a specific size space you won't find a better TV.

Great video, no smearing, good color, expanded image of 4:3 images better than most. HD images awesome. The very good self contained audio occasionally drops out, but comes back it channel is changed. Works great with cable company HDDVR which supplies 1080i to TV.
