great television, very good price. since i've picked up the tv, i have not seen it anywhere else for anything close to what i paid for it through abesofmaine.com.

Sound is better than I thought, which was important because I don't plan on adding a surround sound system. I didn't see the need to pay extra for the 120Hz refresh rate, or choose a lesser brand and get the 120Hz with a inferior picture.

The picture was great out of the box. Setup was as easy as an older model TV. Connected the cable and bluray and had it operational in minutes.
Sound is fine for my installation without any additional equipment.

It is a SONY, but is made in Mexico?!(not Japan). When watching dark scenes, the contrast is very poor meaning can not differtiate things on the screen. Overall it is a good addition to your SONY systems in the house. Abe's of Maine is a good source to do your shopping since all expenses are included in the price. The only catch is you have to be patient to get your item (about two weeks).

I had a rear projection dlp HD TV that died. This puts that television to shame. It has the best color and clarity that I have seen. I would definitely buy it again.
