The actual picture is far better than it is in retail stores. I select game mode and the picture is wonderful and bright. Black is black, white is white, this means it provides accurate color. I can see the picture in any angle without color change ( it overcomes significantly LCD in this issue).
The only thing I do not like about this TV is that it's hot and may increase your room temperature.
The picture will look like real if your use it with Blueray Player like PS 3 or Panasonic BD80.

did a lot of research trying to make a choice between LCD and plasma and really glad that I chose the Panasonic plasma. Ignore what you see in the store when looking at the plasma screens side by side with the LCD but do notice how blown out the highlights are in the LCD. The LCD can not match the many levels of black that the plasma will give you. This Panasonic model has a beautiful cabinet and with the anti reflective screen daytime ambient light will not be a problem. Really an incredible picture. Working in post production professionally I've noticed that almost all editors have moved to the Panasonic plasma as their reference monitor.
