Like research says - good picture and easy to use. But didn't agree with most reviews that said THX was best default setting. Had to do a custom setup. Also not seeing such terrific blacks, but still better than my old LCD. One big problem has been glare and reflection during the day. I expected some based on plasma history, but was surprised at the extent of it. I would choose an LCD set based on this if I had it to do over again. But overall, set is a good one for someone who understands its very few limitations.

a beatiful picture, easy to set up and use. the only downside is watching non-HD programs. As stunning as HD is, the picture clarity of this TV also shows the weakness in non HD programming.

Excellent clarity and color. Difficult too find a plasma in this size. Most are LCD's. Won't be dissapointed with this plasma tele.

Panasonic is cutting edge. WOW nice picture their is no going back to analog / digital. HD is the standard for me. I find myself pausing the movie on something seenic and just looking for no reason other than to see what I can find in the picture. The set is sleek and attractive no wasted space on the sides for speakers. Tv sound is good and can be adjusted to make it better but a bit tinny and indirect a bit week for a large room, through a sound system is perfect. Picture is excelent. My room is on the darker side picture appears bright with good contrast. remote / menues and set up is easy and straight forward. Cons for me may not apply to everyone only 2 HDMI conections on back. for multiple game systems, sound system, BlueRay, etc.. gets tricky. The PC conection is on the side making it dificult to hide the cable. Conections if faceing the front of the set are on the lower left(in the back), faceing the back on the lower right. If your going to watch movies in 24p rather than 3:2 pull down as you should the 45Hz setting is disapointing In a room of 5 adults I was the only one who noticed it but it drove me crazy their was screen flicker. I changed to 65Hz and it was gone. (thank goodness) some of the other sets not yet available as of may 09 are rumored to run 24P at 95Hz. I have no complaints so far at 65Hz. 45Hz I cant go there in my opinion R&D should have never let it through. Abe's did not disapoint. I paid for the private currior just seemed to make sence on a set this size. No issues, fast and friendly. Hope this helps.
