great tv. have been researching panasonic plasma's for 2 years. and i knew when i was ready to buy, this was the one. in my opinion, the king of the hill is perched inside my living room. coupled with my new panasonic blu-ray, it does not get any better.

This TV has a fantastic picture, both regular def and HD. It's really easy to set up and use. Sound is good also.
SD card interface is great. It displayed the pictures with amazing clarity.
Amazing value for the price.

The TV works great. One of the reasons for my purchase of this product instead of the G12 generation plasma from panasonic was that this already has viera cast and also with 4 very good speakers (instead of the usual 2). It truly eliminates the need for a seperate speaker system. The picture on standard def and 1080i is truly brilliant (I have yet to try 1080p but I expect to be impressed). The controls are very easy to use. I have also hooked up a mac mini and use this as the home theater. If you buy a 46 inch make sure you have enough distance between the TV and viewing spot (this is imp).

Have always been a fan of Panasonic, and this TV just proves my belief in them. This is an excellent TV and a true bargain for the price that it is sold at from Abes. I have been waiting for months for the price to come down, and I finally got the best deal that I could from Abes. The newer models don't even come close to the functionality of Panasonic's flagship 850U series. [...]

Definitely a good buy. I am up to a month of usage with no complaints. I have used it for sports, movies, and regular programming. I am a heavy sports watcher making plasma panels my choice. The picture quality is as advertised. For the money, the best on the market. Setup is simple (ie monkey worthy). The colors are true, not oversaturated. I have customized the picture settings just slightly for my preferences.

I bought the 42in version (from Abes) and have never been happier with a TV in my life. It's truly breathatking picture quality.

My PS3 shows up a treat, and bluray movies make me feel like i'm in a fancy cinema.

The 3HDMI inputs are very useful, and both on the stand or on the wall it looks a million bucks.

The glossy surface has only been an issue on the brightest of days and only when I'm in a direct reflection path with the window. Best in a room with no natural light from behind the viewing direction.

The only annoying thing is that it doesnt seem to retain the VieraLink sound output settings when the set is turned off, so I have to reset the link each time.

Dont waste your money on LCD's, just go straight to the plasma.

Did a fair amount of research as anybody really would with a purchase of this size. Picture and colors are amazing with lots of adjustments if you like customizing. I bought this set for a couple main reason: Plasma has better picture than LCD,480Hz means no motion blur, contrast ratio and black levels are top of the line. All in all very happy with my purchase and can't wait for the first 100 hours to be over so I can switch it into studio ref mode.

I bought this TV for my bed room. This is the first plasma HDTV I have ever purchased.
The picture quality was great, and I am very happy with this purchase.
I also own a Sony 52" XBR5 in my family room.
Between the two, I will pick the Panasonic over Sony for the picture quality & price.

The out of the box picture was not as impressive as I had hoped, BUT After a few picture adjustments I felt good about the picture. There are several preset options to chose from, or customize the picture to your own settings. Picture quality and color seem to improve the more I watch the TV. When images move across the screen or the camera pans, the image is not as smooth as I had hoped. Still seems as smooth if not smoother than LCD 120hz. Have not tried out any of the special features of this TV - Web, SD Card, Etc. [...]

This TV is everything it advertises. Just an average joe here, but read up on several different plasmas and brands, (consumer reports, feedback in various sites). This tv had mostly good reviews and I'm no different. very good picture and pretty good audio. Sounds very good even without external surround speakers. Puts samsungs audio to shame.

Seriously, this TV was a snap to set up and start using. The stand is sturdy and idiot-proof to assemble. Experimenting with the picture settings and integrating the remote code to my FIOS remote were the only things that took more than a few seconds. I highly recommend this TV. The picture is phenomenal, and at this price, the value is amazing.

I like nice stuff but electronics are obsolete right away so I don't always go all out. The Kuro probably has a better picture. The Panasonic is great, immersive, I chose a 46 for a viewing distance of 95. Watched Top gun last night the flight sequences were spectacular. Watching Planet Earth, a BBC documetary with great video is hypnotic. I love the set, no regrets.Abes of maine delivered. [...]. The freight company was a little flaky, but nothing to do with Abes.
