I bought the Panasonic on the recommendation of a friend who was a long-time executive in the electronics industry. He told me "you can't go wrong with the Panasonic -- for the price, it's the best picture around." He was right. It was easy to set up and with just a few minor adjustments for personal preference, the picture was absolutely gorgeous. I have the TV in my living room, which has lots of natural light, and even in the daylight I'm hard pressed to see any glare or reflection in the screen. I am now an HDTV addict!

I have been waiting to purchase this TV for about a year. I knew this one was the best technology and size for my use. [...] the TV was perfect, plugged it in, hooked it up to my receiver and I was blown away... Awsome. This was a perfect experience for me. Words of wisdom: shop for your TV first, view it next to other display technologies and pick the right one for you prior to purchase so there will be no surprises.

My wife and I are retired and Home Theater (TV) is 95% of our entertainment. We combined this Flat Screen with Panasonics SC-BT100 Blu-Ray Home Entertainment system and WOW! Watched our first Blu-Ray movie last night and I don't think we will ever go out for movie again. This Plasma has a beautiful picture and the on board sound is not bad either. But, teamed with the sound system named above it is absolutley outstanding.

I bought this plasma TV after many hours of research and am so glad I did. The picture is outstanding; very little glare which I was so concerned about due to the small room we have it in. Set-up was so easy, even for an old man like me - I installed the 82 lb. on the wall without any help, altho the free wall mount wasn't exactly the best (free is ok tho) - since the TV has a flat back to it the mount needed 3/4" spacers which I made from $8 worth of aluminum from [@]. We love the product and would recommend it to anyone seeking an excellent HDMI Plasma TV!

Terrific contrast and black levels even with standard definition signals. This is the second Panasonic I've purchased in the last 5 years and they just keep getting better and better.

I did a lot of research and personally looked at a lot of TV pictures, all brands, and I couldn't find any other models that came even close to this TV for the price. Reviews are almost 100% positive for this unit, both user and professional reviews. Blacks are just that - BLACK! No problems with glare, even in a room with two large windows.

The access to cable jacks are not very convenient if you mount this on the wall like we did.
We bought this TV because we have had the surround system to hook up with this TV which made the sound much better. If you are not considering having just TV speakers, you might want to get upgraded one. But it's got wonderful view and design. I think this is great considering the price we paid.

The TV arrived in perfect condition. A few minutes installing the mounting backets on the back and the TV was ready to go. Picture is excellent in HD using DirecTV set at 1080i. I look forward to hooking it up to a BluRay player

This TV offered an excellent bang for buck. The only down-side I could think of (and it is small) is the orientation of the connections - especially HDMI. Like 99% of flat-screens out there, the connections are made perpendicular to the TV - which requires you to mount the flat-screen that much further out from the wall. Even with 90 degree adapters, you will have to have the TV off the wall a bit.

I was going to buy the Samsung, but after looking at one at a store, I found the sound to be not nearly adequate (not very loud). Since I am not planning on getting an add-on sound system, the Panasonic's speakers are much better. So far, the price I paid is still [$] cheaper than any Christmas special pricing at local electronic stores.

We installed a Karaoke for the grandchildren to use during their Xmas visit this year. The large screen makes it easy for everyone to join in.

We also connect our laptop with a wireless Internet connection and view our favorite series episodes that we missed and video conference with our grandchildren from Florida. The picture quality is so lifelike that it is almost like having the grand-kids home for a visit.

The TV is fantasic even compared to other sets costing twice as much. The only TV that beats this set is the Pioneer Elite but it costs $6K and totally not worth it. I have this set in a very bright room and there is no glare when the TV is on. Couldn't rate this TV any higher. They only con I see is the weight, it is a heavy TV.

I'm not a particularly sophisticated user, but this TV was easy to make work, has a beautiful picture, and supplies surprisingly good sound. What's not to like? Actually, if I have to come up with a negative, it would be the remote control, which is not lit, has a dead button or two when controlling my Blueray player, and doesn't feel quite as intuitive as it might.

All ajustments are easy to find and use. Remote is well thought-out and simple to understand. Presets are helpful and offer reset settings in all cases. A pleasure to set up and fantastic to veiw dvd's and television on. Picture depth and quality is second to none.

The only issue I have in regards to the television is the visible pixel refresh when watching a program that isn't in HD.
