Found Abe's through Bizrate. [...] once TV arrived extremely pleased with the quality and use. Very good for watching movies and playing Wii. Netflix streaming from computer s-video even looks great!

I did a lot of research on (around)[$] plasma and LCD displays before purchasing this Samsung. It essentially came to a decision between the Panasonic and the Samsung. I went to[...] to look at the TVs in person, and the Samsung had a nicer picture and a few more features. Then Abe's put the Samsung on sale [...], so I bought it. I've had the TV for about three weeks now, and I will say that this is a great TV for the price. 720P is adequate for TVs 50" and under--read cnet.com for more information on this. The TV has some really nice features and a lot of inputs. There is a lot of ability to adjust the picture, so you can optimize it for the best quality using the THX optimizer in any PIXAR film. We have a Haier 50" plasma in another room and I thought that picture was nice. The Sammy has an even nicer picture--even the wife noticed--and she loves the Haier. Setup was very easy, and the documentation is adequate. The remote is fine--but the batteries in mine went dead after just a day or two. Certainly, they weren't name brand batteries. I really don't have any gripes with the TV thus far--we have the Wii and a DVD player hooked up to it, plus basic cable. I do want to mention that the QAM tuner is a must have in any HDTV. You can pick up all the network HDTV stations without paying for them--an $8-$10 savings per month. The analog cable stations actually look great on this TV because of a filter in the TV--the analog cable stations on out Haier don't look nearly as good. Don't let the cable company rip you off--pick up the network HDTV signals for free (as they were meant to be) and if you want to pay for the other HD, then that's up to you.

"BEST BUY" by a leading Consumer Magazine - this was one of the highest rated TV's and you can't beat the price. I'm sure you can get a little bit better picture with another TV - but for the price - you can't beat this!
