Very easy to set up. Great television for the price. The contrast and brightness are unbelievable. I mounted it on the wall in a very bright room with lots of windows and a sky light and we can watch it during the day with no problem. The only negative is that occassionally the audio and visual seem to be out of synch.

First plasma and it's great. I wouldn't put much stock in comparing pictures at the local yellow tag big box store, we did and actually this one did not present that well. We bought it anyway (mainly due price at Abe's) and the picture is nothing like it was at the yellow tag big box store, it is much better. I wall mounted this beast (63") and it wasn't bad to do it. You will need two people at all times. The stand is very nice (almost a solid block of glass), but the set still sways at the top. That made me nervous. I highly suggest wall mounting it using the mount included with the unit. You'll need to invest in at least one 90 degree adjustable HDMI adapter because there is not much space between mount and the wall (low profile). If your getting it for games (mainly), I don't think it has very good game settings although I'm not an expert. I do have a PS3 attached, but the unit doesn't do a good job at automatically dimming when not in use. However, the gaming picture is spectacular!

After two weeks, seems fine all artound. The remote is my only slight dissapointment (it's hard to hold on to) but I seldom use it anyway so no big deal.

I read all the reviews, and decided that this Samsung plasma technology is just as good as the newer LED LCD technology. Easy set up, manual is a little weak but with some experimenting with the remote, all went well. I used the stand it came with and placed it on a corner stand so I have good access to the back where the cables go. I have heard a wall mount limits access which is why I decided on the corner. I also heard of the plasma screen reflections coming from lights and windows, but it is not an issue with this anti-glare screen, it gives a great picture. I recommend adding a good theater system since the sound coming from the TV speakers needs a lot of help. [...]

Works nicely with my Win7 Computer, XBox360, & ZuneHD (which looks incredible)

The free wall mount fits and is rated for the weight but the box claims it for 'up to 60 TVs"'

Even when professionals were involved, the TR-80 wall mount installation was an abomination! The built-in bubble levels had to be cut off in order to mount the set. Simply hanging the unit on the mount is a three person job and accomplished only with great difficulty. The connectors protruding from the rear are a tight fit against the wall and some ports are not usable because the wall physically interferes with the connector bodies. The units rear connections are not accessible after it is wall mounted.

The problem may lie in the design of the wall mount supplied by Abe's. Perhaps other wall mounts are more suitable and/or this wall mount was not meant for a set of this size.

Samsung unit is used exclusively as a Television. The picture blows away my Sony XBS. However cannot compete as a PC monitor VS Sony XBRs.

Can't say enough about this tv. Great sound, great quality, great picture, easy installation. It was exactly what I was looking for. If this is the size you're looking for (63"), I recommend it!!

I have several Samsung t.v.s in my house and love them. Never had a plasma before and the picture last night looked excellent. It's in a room with a lot of windows and that didn't distract from the picture at all. Side viewing was very clear. I have it in a big room and I do still need to get some furniture, so the sound was of lesser quality, but I'm getting surround sound hooked up. I don't always like to schlep with turning on surround sound, so I do use the t.v. sound a lot usually. I have a Samsung LCD upstairs and it sounds good in a smaller room. My house is remodeled and I used steel studs in the walls, so they were able to handle the weight of the t.v. just fine. I'm just a novice, but these are my first impressions. [...]

We mounted our t.v. on the wall. Instructions were good for set up and very simple. Tech. was good, there are very few negatives that we have discovered thus far. The only negative is that it is a little difficult to decern voices (such in a movie scene).
