You can see each blade of grass when watching football in HD. The picture is so lifelike and Blu-Ray movies are like being there in person.

Great product. Nice touch pad controls on front. Good picture, like the fact that it has digital reception built in for local channels. Only drawback was that once it's mounted on the wall, it's hard to access the connections for additional cords. Wish they were on the side and a little easier to access.

Very good tv. The picture quality is excellent when paired with a high def input (blu-ray, etc) with phenominal black levels. My only gripe is that switching between inputs is a little slow. But, on that end when watching tv and you decide to fire up the blu ray player, the tv automatically switchs the input directly to the blu ray.

Great TV with an awesome picture. It's easy to set up, has an attractive design along with an intuitive remote. I am using this HDTV in a location which is over 6,000 ft elevation. I have not noticed any problems which are sometimes associated with plasma screen technology. I did buy a 5-year extended warranty just for some added insurance. I'm using an A/V receiver with this TV so I haven't really used the TV's speakers much. I suppose it sounds okay but it obviously doesn't compare with a decent surround sound system.

Very pleased with the simple appearence of this TV, great quality picture, we had speakers already installed from our last TV so used those instead of the TV's.

Everyone who sees this TV, loves it! I am extremely pleased with the picture quality. It's very crisp and clear in every way. There is NO motion blur at all, even on fast moving objects or fast color changing motion.
The speakers aren't great, but other than plain tv programing you should be using a stereo anyways, so no worries there. I have a LG LCD which doesn't even compare to this Samsung B550.
Highly recommended!
