I glued all the frame connection points and the rack is very stable - 95lb amplifier on the bottom shelf with no distortion of the rack or shelf - nice! Deep enough to fit high-end audio equipment with furniture quality hardwood and veneers, a rare combination below a few thousand dollars (that I could find). The factory connectors could be better, but they seem adequate for the purpose.

I agree with a couple of others regarding the assembly of this unit. I put together kitchen cabinets using the same mechanisms and did not have near the trouble. I am putting the unit together now and will call Sanus tech suport. My initial response is "this unit is way over priced even at the discount Abes is giving". I'm thinking around $200-$300 is about right.

The Pieces really do not fit as well all the way thru.
Comments about SANUS WFA37 AV Cabinet - Mocha:
The cabinet can effectively house a satellite DVR, Home Theater receiver, power conditioner and DVD player. The interior, covered in black satin Formica, is spacious and was able to hide all the interconnecting wiring. Convection cooling works well even with the door and back panel installed. Circulation is achieved by drawing air from the bottom, up along the back and side of the selves, and out through a ½-inch gap around the perimeter of the cabinet's top.
The satin finish on the cabinet's exterior is of high quality. The stain color is best described as coffee because there is no red tinting. Would have preferred some red color to better match the more formal setting of our Great room.
There are three options with the cabinet door: Glass insert, wood insert or leave the door off completely.
So what's not to like? Well, the cabinet is assembled by using post and cam-lock hardware of the most inferior quality - completely unsuitable for the task. For this price point go figure. Even with much trial and error, we just could not achieve a lasting tight fit between the joints. Installation of the A/V components is best done from the back. After just a few movements and sliding the cabinet into place, the end result is a wobbly cabinet. It now lists to one side about an inch.
I'm sure this problem is not limited to this one model. When I upgrade one of my A/V components, I plan to completely reassemble the cabinet using screws.
