Kamesan has been one of the leading manufacturers of location sound mixers in Japan for over 30 years, claiming over 90% of the market. Now, through a distribution partnership with Tascam, Kamesan products are available in the USA. Despite being smaller and lighter than comparable mixers, the Kamesan KS-T2000 offers all the flexibility you'll need to engineer precise location sound. Each of the three balanced XLR inputs can be switched between line or microphone level. Additionally, 48V or 12V phantom power are selectable. A variable input sensitivity control adjusts the input amplifier gain to optimize its amplification for any level, from a hot condensor to a low output ribbon. This means that the normal, physical position of the main channel faders can be 'trimmed' to be be at 2/3 rotation, for adequate rotation range to 'ride' variations in signal levels. Switchable 160 Hz high pass filters can eliminate most ambient low frequency noise problems. Separate left/right output switches
