The six-hour battery failed one hour and 40 minutes into a recital. I fully charged the battery the day before to make sure it would complete a two-hour recital with plenty of time to spare. Fortunately I work with four cameras and I was able to edit transition some different angles for a worthy product. Not impressed.
I use the battery with a Sony HDR-XR500V in 5.1 Surround Sound and HD quality. Maybe the settings were to much of a drain, although the battery indicator never gave me any warning of failure.
