NICE CAMERA FOR TRAVEL.

I bought the camera for my sister-in-law's wedding. I filmed the entire pre-wedding ceremony(1.5 hours), the main ceremony(2 hours) and the reception(4 hours) all on one fully charged battery. My arm never grew tired, it's light weight and easy to use. You can pretty much use it right out of the box.

Love this little camcorder. You can record to internal memory or you can use an SD Card. You can make both video and still shots. The ability to save to an SD card and then reformat it to use again is a big advantage over using the one-use dvd-r dvds. The camera is so small and lightweight that it is easy to take with you wherever you go. So far--I love it! Abe's has the best price around for this camera--believe me, I checked!

Comments about Canon FS-11 Flash Memory Camcorder:
Its a Great camera, as long as your comfortable with point shooting or using LCD, You won't have any issues with it.
Only downsides:
No infrared or nightvision.
Utitilizes digital stabilization as apposed to optical.
All arounds its a great Camera, I chose it over the HF-11, because the digital format is more compatable. And because the camera is much cheaper and pretty much has all the same features, minus HD, and optical Stabilization.

This is my first grandfather camera. It has given us a wonderful way to chronicle our new granddaughter's development, and using it has been fun!
The camera is easily recognized by iMovie '08 and the clips look magnificent on our MacBook's screen. The picture is not HD but it's great for our purposes. When we become an HD family, we'll invest in an HD camera. But for now, the picture quality is just fine. In iMovie, clips can be easily combined into short films which can then be rendered in m4v format for iPod or iPhone.
