My Canon Elura70 finally carped out on me, so I needed something new, and something that utilized SD cards. Really was sick of vidcap. A friend of mine had purchased an FS200 and I really liked it. I was actually looking for a 200 (for the sole reason of the ext. mic input), but it was too late. I still really like this unit though. Really portable, and so easy to use.
